These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cubitvault.com and the Cubit Vault app (together, the "Service"), provided by Cubit Vault LLC ("Cubit Vault," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Cubit Vault is

Cubit Vault is a budgeting and financial-planning tool that helps you track spending and project future scenarios. Cubit Vault is provided for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Projections are estimates based on the information you provide and assumptions you choose — they are not guarantees of future results. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Your account

You need an account to use most features of Cubit Vault. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours, interfering with the Service's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Subscriptions and billing

Cubit Vault may offer paid subscription plans. Depending on where you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe (web) or through in-app purchase via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you subscribe through the App Store or Play Store, your purchase is also subject to Apple's or Google's respective terms, billing, and refund policies, and cancellations for those subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID or Google account rather than through us. For Stripe-based subscriptions, you can manage or cancel your plan from your account settings.

Third-party services

Cubit Vault relies on third-party providers to operate — including Supabase (infrastructure), Plaid (bank connectivity), Stripe (payments), and Apple/Google (in-app purchases and app distribution). Your use of features built on these providers is also subject to their respective terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any projection or calculation will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cubit Vault LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any financial decisions made based on information provided through the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
